Hey BJ,

Here is the 1969S CUD I mentioned in my last email.  I was told that the reference number for this CUD was LC-69S-04.  Anyway, here are the pictures.

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Good Morning BJ!

On the LCR forum you had asked for CUD pictures.  I this 1983P with a small CUD and I will send you a second email with pictures of a very large 1969S CUD.  Well, here are the pictures for the 1983P.

Thanks for all your contributions to the coin variety and error world!

Hello,     Per your request on Lincoln Cent Resource, I am sending you pictures of 3 Cud cents that I have.  The 1974 and 1975-D I found in general circulation from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The 1940-S I found in a wheat cent bag purchased from eBay.  The pictures were taken with a digital microscope. If you need anything else or better pictures, please let me know. Respectfully,

Matthew Sallee

Hey, this is  (scott99) and this is the one small CUD I have. I wasn’t sure if you guys just wanted a picture of the CUD and it’s location or if you wanted any markers that would help identify the die… so I included everything. I figured it’d need some markers to identify the CUD on a further-progressed example since it is pretty small.

Let me know if you cannot work with these BJ. I had a hard time shooting it. The coin could use a bath and maybe goo be gone would clean it up some. If these photos won’t work, I don’t mind sending it to you for shooting. Regards,

Bella– Sure BJ you can use my pictures. I also have a 1998P 1c MS 62 RED MAJOR DIE BREAK graded by ANACS. If you need that one I’ll be more than happy to let you use pictures of it also. There is a thread on this site, for the 1998P that you can get pics from. —- I Hope this is ok to ask a question about this quarter. Do you have any idea of the value (premium)? If there even is any? Trying to figure out if its worth the 25 dollars to send to TPG NGC or ANACS. I just searched the web trying to find out if there is a premium. Couldn’t not find anything. I just don’t understand how you would even know. The only reason I got the 1998 graded was the guy at the coin shop said it would be worth the 25 dollars. Have no idea what the premium is on it. Was thinking about trying to sell it on eBay. But really don’t have a clue to what price to start at. I’s there any websites that you can refer me to? To try an learn more about this? Just get frustrated with that part. Sorry for rambling on just trying to learn. What is the name of your new web site? Thx BJ.

I know I’m not supposed to reply with coins I’m selling, but I have these in the queue to go to eBay shortly:

The site is being built by Fred Weinberg, Mike Diamond, Bob Piazza and myself. At the moment, we are just collecting material that can be added. If any of you do have cuds, retained cuds, split dies, large retained interior die breaks or large interior die breaks, all I need is images and your permission to use them.  Thanks, BJ Neff >> Yes you do. The photos themselves were taken by the site where you see them. Please give them the proper credit. TD

Hi BJ, Maybe you already have examples of this 1804 cent. It’s a fairly well known cud coin. The images are reduced in size. Originals are 4x larger, if some other size works better for you. Cheers, Lance (lkeigwin on the PCGS forum)
